 I cannot fault the firm in any way...

I decided to sell a High Yield Investment Property in Clifton comprising of the freehold divided as five self-contained flats. I instructed Hollis Morgan alongside another Estate Agent on a joint sole agency basis with a long stop auction date if the Investment failed to sell by private treaty. The agreement between both agencies was on a winner takes all basis. In property career lastingover 30years in the city I have never dealt with a firm that is more efficient than Hollis Morgan. The particulars were settled within three days, the property was marketed immediately and I received an offer the following week and exchanged the week after that. The entire process from instruction to exchange of contracts took three weeks and one day and to those who say buying and selling property takes a long time they need to instruct Hollis Morgan and a speedy firm of solicitors. I cannot fault the firm in any way for the way they dealt with this matter and I can thoroughly recommend them to anyone who wants a fast, efficient and professional service. Charles Hack, Clifton

Having bought our workshop through Hollis Morgan a few years ago prior to auction, I was really pleased with the service they offered. Visiting their offices was a pleasure - they made me feel part of the Hollis Morgan family. When it came to selling the workshop there was no hesitation in going back to them - this time I wanted the full auction experience. I was pretty near the deadline for the June auction, but Olly and Nick helped in getting everything ready on time. Tom and Nick did the viewings and I always got prompt and useful feedback. And then auction night! We had to create our own atmosphere at home, but watching Andrew Morgan rattle through the lots was quality entertainment. The auction process finds the time wasters and focuses on the serious buyers.  I was impressed with the way this sale was conducted and would have no hesitation In recommending them to sell any form of property.

I was very pleased  the way Hollis Morgan conducted the auction sale of  a building  with mixed use and planning for 4 units. There was very little interest up until 2 days before the auction and I felt we would not sell but then they found a buyer on the day of the auction who made a very good offer and was prepared to sign a contract before the auction. After discussing the offer with the auctioneers I agreed to accept the offer subject to the contract being signed before 3pm on the day of the auction. l was very pleased with the result that the purchaser signed up I am sure it was the right decision as the price agreed was much higher than the proposed reserve I was impressed with the way this sale was conducted and would have no hesitation In recommending them to sell any form of property. This is where Andrew the Amazing took over we were the 1st lot up and in what seemed like minutes bidding was going fast and furiously and the hammer went down at £325,000.

What can I say about Hollis Morgan other that incredible, amazing and fantastic. Olly has the patience of a saint, we had been talking to him on and off for over 2 years, had believed we had sold it privately, went back to him, changed our minds, went back again and finally agreed to an auction date. Oh my goodness that's when the speed changed in less than 2 months we went from Hollis Morgan being on site that same day taking photographs to it being listed to numerous viewings. We had been advised to price at the lower end to gain interest we priced at £235,000 with a reserve of £250,000, our initial buyer had offered £280,000. Suddenly we are at auction day. This is where Andrew the Amazing took over we were the 1st lot up and in what seemed like minutes bidding was going fast and furiously and the hammer went down at £325,000. Normally for a property in excess of £1M we would take it to London...

Once we had made a decision to dispose of the Fishponds property a decision had to be made which Auction house we were going to use. Normally for a property in excess of £1M we would take it to London but we had noticed through their marketing emails that Hollis Morgan had over the last year or so Auctioned properties at this level and beyond. We set up a meeting and agreed terms. Within 24hrs the property had been photographed and set up on their website. Within a week we had three interested parties and two weeks later exchanged with one of them in excess of the guide price. For us we wouldn’t have no problem with using Olly and his team again. We wanted to take control of selling a large house with land and fishing, rather than wait on events. So if your house is a bit or very rough, and you don't have the time or money to spend on doing up the house to sell then a Hollis Morgan auction is a great option.

Within 2 months of my house being 1st viewed by Olly the house is sold for 5k above reserve which is a very fair price.  Nick hosted numerous viewings over the period.  The peace of mind of knowing that the buyer has put a 10% deposit down prior to completion is worth a k or 2. This was my first experience of buying a house in an auction, so I was rather nervous! Hollis Morgan couldn't have made the process any easier.

I was at the auction with my sister and my 93 year old father, who will be moving in with me to the property. Lucinda was amazing from the start, both at the auction and afterwards. The following day, she went to a lot of trouble to arrange for me to show my sister and father around the house at very short notice. She was also very helpful in the following weeks. Andrew Morgan was extremely helpful on the day prior to the auction by researching details of the leasehold agreement, calling me back and emailing me several times. Putting a property up for auction - even recommending a client to do so is the ultimate in sales technique and impresses every successful seller. A huge advantage over private treaty when at the fall of the hammer you know that the property is sold and a contract exists.

Putting a property up for auction - even recommending a client to do so is the ultimate in sales technique and impresses every successful seller. A huge advantage over private treaty when at the fall of the hammer you know that the property is sold and a contract exists. Lot 28 came within the hour - bids rising quickly from below guidance to the reserve - a sense of relief - bidding continued when not before the fall of the hammer a further £120,000 had been added.  My duty to inform my client and she her family - Julia wrote me early this morning -"Did anyone sleep last night because I did not and I have already done my shopping. On the night Andrew who was the auctioneer was very good and comical and knew how to work the crowd he made the whole experience very entertaining although it was also nerve racking.

This is the second time we have used Hollis Morgan to sell a property at auction the first one was sold prior to auction but this one went to Auction. Olly was great met me at the property carried out an inspection and gave me figures there and then, he kept me informed all the way with viewings etc..
